| I got word the NATIVE_AMERICANS notes conference will be moving this Friday,
14-Feb-1997, which BTW is Valentine's Day (for those that forgot and
need to know). NATIVE_AMERICANS will become unavailable Friday morning, at
8:00 am and may be NOT be available for access the whole day. There
is a mass move to SSDEVO and compression happening to all conferences
that reside on GENRAL. I'm the moderator of 15 of the ones moving. :-(
You will need to modify your notesbook entry by using this format:
MODIFY ENTRY conf_name/FILE=new_conf_location
So if you have NATIVE_AMERICANS as your conference name, do the following at
your notes prompt:
MOD ENT NATIVE_AMERICANS/FILE=SSDEVO::NATIVE_AMERICANS
See you at the new location, hopefully later in the day Friday or next
Monday morning (17-Feb-1997).

| This may come as a shock to some but my last day at DIGITAL will be Thursday,
the 13th of March 1997. I am looking for a replacement moderator for this
notes conference. If you are interested, please contact me by 11-MAR-1997.
I have spoken with the system people here and they have no problem with the
conference remaining on SSDEVO:: and someone remotely moderating from another
site.
If someone does not take over moderation, this conference will close.

| I have NOT heard from anyone interested in taking over this conference. I
don't know how long it will stay up and running without one, so be aware.
If you lose access to the conference, it is probably because it got deleted
since it will not have a moderator after 13-MAR-1997.
