5075.0. "arith_except and intdiv during select" by AVMSV1::EKREISLE (Erich Kreisler) Wed Feb 26 1997 08:49
Hello,
A customer reported that he got the following errors when selecting from a table:
%RDB-E-ARITH_EXCEPT, truncation of a numeric value at runtime
-SYSTEM-F-INTDIV, arithmetic trap, integer divide by zero at PC=800079C8,
PS=0000000B
.
I'm not sure if this is related to note 3622 as in my case the PC is in the
systemspace, but the customer also added new storage areas to that database two
days ago.
Opposed to note 3622 this problem is not reproducible any more and happened only
once.
As I found from the SPR the problem mentioned in 3622 is not fixed in 6.1A.
Versions: Rdb 6.1-04
OpenVMS 6.2 (don't know which patches they installed).
Thank you in advance for your help,
erich
