5047.0. "TUXEDO" by ORAREP::RTOAL2::MAHER (TIER3 simply a better RPC!) Wed Feb 19 1997 11:49
Hi,
I've seen note 2312 but that seems to be about it. So:-
Does Rdb support TUXEDO on DEC UNIX?
If NO, ignore the rest but if YES then is there some documentation
similar to the Guide to Distributed Txns that we have on VMS? Or
better still does someone have any DEC COBOL examples?
Please excuse my ignorance here as I know nothing about TUXEDO
and it may be a case of "the interaction between Rdb and TUXEDO
is hidden from the 3GL programmer in the form of some ACMS-like
STDL" and "there is no equivilant DECdtm TID structure that
can be passed directly to SQLMOD". But I would appreciate any
pointers.
Regards Richard Maher.
