a customer is trying to construct the SQLDA and have the SQLVAR to contain more than 150 fields. the table contains some 225 fields, and it seems to fail past the 150 Anyone knows the limit of the SQLVAR size in dynamic SQL? Thanks in advance.

The length of the array can be virtually unlimited. Please make sure they set the length correctly. Take a look at the SQL$DYNAMIC example in the examples ~it seems to fail past the 150 What do you mean fail? Is there an error message? If so please give the full text of the message. Ian |
