Liz, Thanks for the help. But I can answer 2 of your questions at this moment. Yes, I can create a file on all of the disks. I can see the database appeared in the directory but the creation process still persists. It never ends. I'm not sure how to run the Analyzer. Can you tell me? Regards, Eric | |||||

Ian, When the database is under creation, the RMU/SHOW STAT says "%RDMS-F-DBCRUPT, database is corrupt". After I kill the process, the RMU/SHOW STAT says "%RDMS-F-TERMINATE, database monitor forced image exit to protect database" It does not say anything about lock. Eric | |||||

It takes someone with more VMS knowledge than I have to really do a good job with SDA. I would take a serious look at the disks/controller/etc. | |||||
