Hello.
I have seen that the BUG#432133 will be fixed in Rdb V6.1-11.
As I detect in a customer the same problem in Rdb V7.0-00 STD AXP using
OpenVMS/AXP V6.2, using Optimized Page Transfer (page transfer via memory)
when, after insert a row, this same is readed.
The exeception is "PIOUTL$DO_IORB + 32C".
The problem disappear if the page transfer is turn to via disk.
If more details are required, I could get more info.

| There have been several OPT bugfixes in Rdb7 ECO1 (due out soon :-), most of
which (if not all) have been back-ported to Rdb v6.1. I believe this problem is
also fixed in Rdb7 since it is fixed in Rdb v6.1-11.

| yes fix in 6.1-11 and 7.0-01 and up but it seems that the fix has some
side effect so we never know !!! :-)

After installation of Rdb7.0 eco1 (pre-released version), we have always
this error with page transfer via memory.
***** Exception at 00975E98 : PIOUTL$DO_IORB + 00000730
%RDMS-F-CANTWRITEDBS, error writing pages 13:108-108
-SYSTEM-F-NOPRIV, insufficient privilege or object protection violation
The offset is new. Is it working only on Rdb6.1-11 (Rdb 6.1.1.1) ?

As this was a preliminary kit, maybe it didn't have the fix. I suggest you
try the real ECO 1 kit which should be available soon.

| As i've asked for a backport, i'll wait for this official eco1 and ask ct to try
again with this version.
Also, i'm waiting for more explanations from the ct about this bug.
If it is possible to check in the official one...
Many big ct are waiting for this feature.
