Another customer reported the same informational message...
DBMS 6.1-11.
Does anyone know what causes this? And can they just ignore it?
Thank You

> Does anyone know what causes this? Sure! This message means that the database was "opened" by a utility process (typically RMU/BACKUP, RMU/BACKUP/AFTER or RMU/SHOW STATS - normally an RMU/XXX utility). If the database open mode is MANUAL, the database MUST still be opened using the RMU/OPEN command, since the database is not *really* open. Note that in the example in .0 the database open mode is probably AUTOMATIC so the 2 identified users simply attached to an already-open database & kept it open after the utility process terminated. >And can they just ignore it? This is just an informational message - ignore it or not... Rick | |||||
