Dog Cage $80.00 (or more if you prefer)
Large animal cage (as in big dog)...approx 5' x 3' x 3.5' heavy wire
construction with about a 3" x 4" grid. Large locking door in front to
facilitate insertion and retention of dog...removal was no problem because
Maynard hated being in "the box". Has a pan that covers the entire floor
space for those inevitable oopses (marginally effective if the tail is
wagging, if its a Lab....seek immediate shelter, their tails are deadly
when happy)
Reason for selling - Maynard prefers sleeping in his outside insulated
straw lined shingled and sided with a view dog villa to being boxed up in
the garage and all we are doing with it is storing stuff on top and not
storing a dog within. With a little clever re-engineering it could be used
as a have-a-heart trap for bears, mountain lions or neighborhood juvenile
delinquents.
Seriously, if you start a dog as a pup in these things and not use it
as punishment they don't seem to mind, Maynard was a bit older when we
were adopted by him and he views the thing as a form of cruel captivity.
Besides, being a Siberian Husky anything warmer that 40 below and winds
less that 30 knots is bikini weather to him. If Maynard could'nt get
out neither will your dog. It does dismantle to a more managable set
of panels approximately 3' x 5' maby 5" deep.
I gave $100.00 right here in Colorado_classifieds less than a year ago
but to avoid a bidding war I'll let it go for $80.00 firm. Some assembly
required and dog not included.
