I am considering having some of my house windows tinted. Thumbing through the phone book, it looks like there are several places that do this work, and at least 2 different brands of film which are applied to the windows. Anybody have experience with this sort of thing? I would especially like to hear comments regarding installers and longevity of the film. Randy

I've had two homes done by Colorado Sun Control. They did a really
great job both times. Their products come with a guarantee and they
have several levels of tinting that you can use.
I know that in this house, they recommended a lesser level of tinting
than I'd asked for. It cost me less, and they had good reasons for
less tint! They used Vista tint and had samples available so you
could decide which looked best. Looking at my windows now, you would
NOT know that I had tint on them if I didn't tell you!
