| Lisle, I don't have any information for you on that article but I can
tell you of a woman who probably knows about all there is to know
about these dogs... and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she had the
article you are referring to. I don't know her name but she owns the
Alpine Animal Inn off of W. Cimarron (actually Naegle Rd) and raises
those little guys. She is also a member of the Bishon Frisse rescue
group. We take our dogs there for boarding and grooming and we just
call her grandma (she's got to be at least in her 70's). Her number
at Alpine is 473-9560 and she will absolutely talk your leg off about
these dogs if you let her.

| Thanks to those who replied here and in mail. I've got the article from "Dog Fancy"
and another from "Dog World". I may have to check out the breeder too. I just love
my little guy so much if another comes up for recue I may not be able to resist.
BTW, I found my little treasure via Colorado All Breed Rescue. I called them and
told them I was looking for a small companion dog. When they check the pound they
look for dogs to save and let people who have asked them know what is out there. I
got a great dog and the workers at the Humane Society weren't required to kill another
animal that fell on hard times. liesl
