OK, so "Mayor Mary Ellen" never happened. Now that we have seen
the last of Mayor Bob, the potential is that we will have a Mayor Mary
Lou, a Mayor John, a Mayor Cheryl, etc.
Unfortunately mirroring the national political morass, the local
candidates have adopted despicable behavior. One started-out with
negative ads, another is tap-dancing with PAC money and the two of them
got into a couple of childish spats during debate/meet-the-candidate
sessions.
We've got a week to decide, but the pickin's are mighty slim.

| count me in for Earl Janeck. he at least doesn't have his hand in the
pocket of the developers, and appears to be human. that is an
improvement from most of the 'droids running this year.

| That was one of the worst things I've seen about this election.
The developers made sure that almost ALL of the candidates were tainted
with their donations. Gullible (or greedy) as they are, they just
bellied-up to the trough.
I hate being pushed into voting for a candidate due to a single
factor like this, but the simpletons running for office are making
things very difficult.
