| How 'bout dem new Bronco uniforms? At first glance, they seemed
pretty odd-looking. However, I think they will catch-on. They have
the required macho logo, a snorting beast of a stallion who has
obviously spent a lot of time doing neck exercises. They also have the
dramatic side-panels on the Jerseys (of course the darker jersey has
more impact).
Fans are gonna hate the uniforms for a while, but that won't last
long.

| I *really* like the logo ("Snorting Stallion"), I really don't care one way or
the other about the uniform...
Of course the quote was that "We wanted a more aggressive looking uniform."
How could any other color be more aggressive and testosterone pumped than
hunter's orange? :-)

Wellll, I have seen a snorting WHITE stallion wearing an orange
costume. Many times in fact. His name was Banouz...

What struck me about the new uniforms was the rather dramatic
change in the helmet logo.
Snorting horsie VERY BIG, "denver" very small. A little message
from Pat Bowlens to the Devner voters perhaps?

| The helmet logo?
You mean Puff the magic bronco?
I am not impressed, expecially not by the nike swoosh in the nostril.
I also see the change without having the city name as part of the logo
as subtle blackmail on the team possibly moving.

>>>Of course, I've never actually seen any snorting stallions wearing orange...
Ever been in the mountains during hunting season? Ranchers will put orange
on anything that moves and on a few things that don't to protest them
from the import of Texicans and Okies with guns and licenses and no
knowledge of what an elf looks like.
The owner of the Big Horn Ranch, where I usually hunt from, had a few
bullet holes in his bailer after one season. It is now orange.

Good think you misspelled "Oakey" or I would have taken offense.
BTW, I think everyone knows elves have pointed ears....

Thanks Roger,
That thought did cross my mind re: mispelling "okie", as feeble
as it is today. My brain usually knows what I want to enter, I
sometimes have trouble on the cable to the fingers. I guess
I could blame it on "monday". That sometimes works.
Heaven knows I wouldn't want to offend you. Snicker... snicker..
And the elves I refer to are a lot bigger and have a significant
array of a hard substance protruding from their heads.
Hopefully, most of you realized that I ment to say "elk" instead
of "elf" also.
Thanks for stopping by Roger. You made my morning, even if it was at
my expense.
Cheers,
John I

The mention of a possible message to the Denver voters brings to
mind an old bumper sticker....
"GO BRONCOS! And Take the NUGGETS with you!"
I'll be glad to see the Broncos go somewhere else, if the alternative
is a taxpayer funded stadium for them to play in.
