| "Hoosiers" is the best.
"One on One" is the sappiest (Robby Benson).
"The fish..." is the stupidest.
I haven't seen "Pistol Pete" yet, but if what I hear about it is true then it
will most likely surpass "Hoosiers".

Well, according to some folks, all basketball movies are just spinoffs of
"The Paper Lion"

| Movies are a spinoff of cave paintings. And caves are a spinoff of
bungholes.
Therefor, only people with bungholes like movies. Excepting some who are
merely left holding the bag...

| A search of Alta Vista comes up with a movie called, "Eddie"
starring Whoopee Goldberg and half the NBA. I've never heard of
this one. Anyone see it?

| I aint seen it but part of it was filmed across the street at the
Charlotte Coliseum.
They had a_ad in the paper asking anyone who wanted to show up and fill
the Coliseum so it'd look like something. One of the secretaries brought
her son. For some reason the producer/director/guy_in_charge spotted him
and did a close up of him wearing some Knicks garb.
They paid him 100 bucks too.

| If'n you rent "Amazing Grace and Chuck", and look close enough at the
action at the Garden, you'll get to see a nice shot of me during the
action, back when I had only a few grey hairs!
My son reminded me of "Pistol" last night. He really liked that one.
