Put something cool in like that and then don't tell me where it comes from.

| 'Saw, I thought that would be obvious. The Charge of the Light
Brigade. The quote is paraphrased. Marsh had led a sortie and some
stupid general observing (a quartermaster, why are we not surprised)
had thought the Captain should have advanced furthur. Marsh took the
message to Lord Cardigan and the only furthur advance they could think
of was to the Russian lines.
Hence the disaster. But honor was at stake something completely missed
by the quartermaster general.

Oh, okay. I don't have the full copy here (do at home though) and don't have
it all committed to memory at any rate. I kind of like the "When can their
glory fade?" line. 8^)

Heaven help you if you're led by someone from Supply.
Friend of mine has an authentic uniform from that period (1854) from the

Subj: important message
Hi people,
I almost had some disappointing and depressing news for you all, almost. I
just spend several hours ransacking my house and my office looking for the
Patriots Day tickets, all 36 of them, but no luck. Visions of pissed-off
people plus me being out $250+ slam-danced through my head as I called the
Red Sox ticket office hoping that it wouldn't be a lost cause. Luckily,
it's not a lost cause at all. A bit of a pain in the butt, but we're still
going! Here's the scoop. An hour & a half before game-time, I have to go to
a certain gate/window to pick up a voucher for the 36 tickets. Then, anytime
later, we all must go in the regular bleacher section gate *as a group*.
Unfortunately, this takes away the convenience of us in smaller groups, pairs,
singles, whatever, to go in as we please, and I'm really sorry for that. If
anyone has any problem whatsoever with this arrangement, please let me know.
This also means, obviously, that we all must meet in one place at a designated
time and place. This usually happens anyway, but there's always someone
who gets there late or is a last minute no-show, which is what concerns me.
I think that probably the best thing to do is to all meet at the entrance,
Gate C, at 10:50. Of course, I'm sure most of us will meet earlier somewhere
else...
There's also still a chance that I'll find the tickets and get them to you all before the game. But, if not, again, I'm real sorry for this inconvenience.
And, again, please let me know if being there at 10:50 poses a problem...
Not feeling good about this,
Hawk
