2) I know it's a lot to ask for, but could we leave out personal attacks
against the folks in here?

The sports figures this note talks about are folks. If we leave them out
there will be nothing to discuss.

Sorry, my sentence was ambiguous. I was specifically referring to attacks
against ::SPORTS folks. There are plenty of other places to take those kind
of cheap shots.

It never was changed, Mike. The way it is now is the way I entered it.

Michael Jordan.
He still hasn't thrown in the towel.
Firsted, he risks the whole season so he can make 40 million instead of
39. And now that the union has voted for him to shut up, he's threatening
to go to court.

| By any chance does the voting follow the same rules as the card game Hearts?
In that game points are bad. You get points for getting stuck with hearts
and you get a lot for the queen of spades, but if you get all the points that's
"shooting the moon" and you win.
Could it be that Groner is trying to shoot the moon and win all the points
for most obnoxious noter? If he accomplishes that, then does he win?
There's a thought to give you a chill on a cold night.

I can vouch for this part of it.
It's an indictment of the SPROTS:: noting community in general. We put so
much emphasis on winning that we all feel like failures if we fail to win an
award.
