| What happened to Blunder Dan ? A couple years ago he was an All Star.
Now he can't hit a 3 pointer to save his life, can't drive to the hoop,
and is very slow on defense. Is it age ? injury ?
On the other hand, my man Danny Ainge is still playing like he did
10 years ago.
Gronowski, you are too much !! Your notes keep me laughing all day.

I think he is referring to the 3-1 lead the Suns held. Whereas NY had
to make a comeback to get to game 7.

| FACE IT they BOTH CHOCKED, at least my team was a #5 Seed who lost to
the #1 Seed and were outplayed at every position but one and there
bench was outplayed as well... No Chocking by my team (Da Bulls) they
just lost to a better team...
Phoenix, no words to discribe this CHOKE, I feel for the fans, the team
and coach get no Pitty as they just plain and simple BLEW IT, there
done barkely gets not ring and retire's and empty player...
New York.. Ditto for Ewing, he will not get a ring as a KNICK HE SHOULD
DEMAND A TRADE, and yes they CHOKED, the home team DOES NOT LOSE THE
7th GAME AT HOME (Unless your Phoenix or New York).... Indiana set
themselves up for the BIG CHOCK (IE see Phoenix) but even with the refs
fans against them playing in Hostile MSG they pulled off the victory.
The 2 best teams in the east are playing in the eastern finals, am I
happy, of course not I was hoping the Younger MJ was back for one last
hurrah but his 32 year old body couldnt do it all and no stepped up in
chicago. The west will feature the best over record holder San Antonio
vs Last years champion's. I'd say this should be 2 very exciting
matchups and they ALL DESERVE to be there...
Congrats Orlando/Ind/Houston you played great and all deserve it but
San Antonio and the Admiral will get there rings :-)

| Anytime a team with the greatest player of all time, and another who's
among the top-5 in the NBA, doesn't win it's a FAILURE !!! Then throw
in players with the skills of Kukoc and Armstrong, and a coach who's
among the elite in the game, and you have a team that should NOT
give up an 8-point lead on it's home floor when they're facing
elimination. Given they KNOW how to win big games, how else can
you explain what happened, other than to use the term "CHOKE" ?
And despite Heiser's and MaB's attempts to deflect the "choker" label
to the Knicks, it's not true. The Knicks can be called overachievers,
less talented than the Pacers, and even "UGLY" ballplayers. But I don't
see how they choked in this series. Was it choking when they came back
from 3-1 down with a last-second shot in Game 5 and an incredible 10-point
win AT INDIANAPOLIS in Game 6 ? They lost Game 7 because they were
out-played. That game was NEVER in their control, and appeared to be put
away when they were down 15 in the 3rd, and again when they were down 7
in the closing minutes. But Starks hits an incredible 3, and Ewing makes
a terrific move to the hoop when everyone in the joint knows he's taking
the final shot. He missed the shot, but not because he choked.

Blowing the big lead in game 1 with 16 seconds left, Pat Ewing misses
a gimme to send game 7 to OT - I'd say that's a big ole CHOKE.

Can we just say all the teams still playing didn't choke and the rest
did, and just move on? It's gotta be better than this my team lost but
didn't choke, but yours did, crap.

| Anytime the HIGHER SEEDED TEAM LOSES it pretty consistent as a CHOKE.
Just look at the record, the home team ALWAYS WINS GAME 7 AT HOME,
untill this year when the 2 biggest choking teams in the history of
the nba (NY KNICKS and PHOENIX SUNS) broke that record...
Pretty simple the records speaks for itself, I'll repeat incase my
first one had words you didnt understand
NO HOMETEAM HAS EVER LOST GAME 7 AT HOME, IE THE FAVORITE's ALWAYS WIN
GAME 7 !!!!! OPINION... NO, THIS IS FACT, UNTIL The CHOKER's (Submit
NY or Phoenix) erased history buy CHOKING GAME 7 AWAY to the lower
seeded team.
And I guess anti jordan/bulls fans can rewrite history all they want
but how the Road team #5 seeded bulls losing to the Home team #1 seeded
Favorites to win it all Orlando is a CHOKE I'll never understand. (I
known they lost game 6 at chicago but HCA was Orlando's).
The Difference here, at least from my end is I didnt truely beleive
Chicago had a chance to get past Orlando to begin with... So no HUGE
disapointment when they lost, now how they lost giving up 14pts down
the stretch and not scoring any was a HUGE disapointment but MJ was
too damn tired and Phil wasnt smart enough to get him more rest.
BUT if I were a NY or PHO fan I'd feel somewhat cheated with my team
blowing game 7 at home, something unheard of in the history of the NBA.
Both #2 Seeded teams lost as did both #5 seeded teams but both #2 teams
were expected to contend for the TITLE and couldnt even get to the conf
finals... THATS CHOKING
Not sure who should get the CROWN of KING CHOKER, my vote goes to Ewing
but I didnt get to see the Phoenix game 7.

In Actuality. Indiana was the #2 seed, but Ny got home court
because of a better record.
IMO the only choke this year was Phoenix because with all them
"STUDS" how could they have lost?

| Yes but HOUSTON took the series from Phoenix (Houston is the defending
champion), NY gave the series away, 1st by falling back 3-1 and then
not only losing game 7 but having your KEY #1 Player miss a bunny shot
from 2 feet away to send the game to OT is a HUGE CHOKE JOB.

| > I guess you failed history as well as English.
> 1982 Boston Celtics (lost game 7 to Philadelphia in Boston Garden)
> 1969 L.A. Lakers (lost game 7 to Boston in the Forum)
Actually there are several home teams that have lost Game 7. The list
was published in one of Monday's papers. The Knicks beat Boston in
'73 (?) in a Game 7 at Boston Garden.
And MaB, if you honestly believe your words when you say, "I never
expected the Bulls to beat Orl", then you need counseling. C'mon,
before Jordan came back you were nowhere to be found when it came
to talking about the NBA. Almost to the day when he announces his
come back, you return. And you expect us to believe that you weren't
driven by the anticipation of another title... We aren't fools.

| -3, Well Heiser as Ive tried to explain time and time again I WILL NOT
WASTE MY TIME CORRECTING NOTESFILES but if your intrested about true
facts and not HeiserFacts Ive never Failed English or History I did
however Graduate #6 out of a class of 300 (So Top 2%) so I'm curious
if you graduated in the top 2% of your High School ? So if you want to
compare facts thats fine....
-2, I WILL ALWAYS HOPE AND PRAY THAT MY TEAMS WINS IT ALL, but would
I bet on it, or expect it, no Im not an Idiot (Although I play one in
the notesfile). The bulls have/had a good enough team to reach the
eastern finals without jordan but this year they lost there center(s)
there BEST power forward and his backup and a couple guards/bench
players... SO they were learning to play together and then adding
jordan which was a plus was also a negative at the same time (Maybe
a Slight plus). Had Jordan not comeback the bulls may have not got
out of round 1, Im not sure if they would have stayed in front of
Cleveland or not. Jordan's return effected all the teams in the east
and Im sure it made IND/NY performance increase because noone wanted
to face them in rnd 1.
-1, Actually heiser is correct, I'm pretty sure I heard them say on the
radio that the home team has lost game 7, I think I was mixing up the
3-1 lead with the game 7 Hometeam records... But still doesnt change
anything, they both CHOKE'd.
