yes I did Chappy. He deserves it for his hogan wannabe attitude.......
Rumors run rampant that Flair will indeed do the job again for Hulkie
Hogan and then retire.
Rumor has it that after that Hogan will fight Vadar under the condition
that Vadar tones down his act and promises not to hurt Hulkie as well
as loose. Hogan was scared stiff to fight Vadar unless Vadar agreed
to go easy. Here's hoping that Vadar says screw the script and lays
a beating on Hogan.
Also of note Johnny B. Badd finally has a belt. US TV Champ if I'm not
mistaken. Well deserved imo.

| Saying that wrestling is fixed is sort of like saying that the sword fight in
Hamlet is fixed. Think about it, you can watch Hamlet 100 times and each time
Hamlet gets nicked by the poison sword, knocks the sword out of the guy's hand,
switches swords, then runs the guy through.
So is the sword fight in hamlet "fixed"? Well I don't think so, it's more
blocked, rehearsed and acted. Same with Wrestling.
Boxing is different. Sure no doubt there have been guys taking dives, I never
really believed that stuff about Sony Liston and Ali's "anchor" punch, but
it's not really a play in which the moves are planed and rehearsed they way
they are in Hamlet and in Wrestling.
Same thing by the way in King Lear. Edgar and Edmond have it out a couple
times and both fights always seem to come out the same way.

Now there's a legend! My mother-n-law, alias Dragon Lady, dated him
for a while. I can see her now...putting him in a bone-crushing
leg drop.
Saw him in a steel cage match with Rowdy Roddy Piper. In was in the
Gahden just after the Pats were humiliated by the Bears in Super Bowl
(?). Piper gets in first and commences to 'decorated' the walls of the
cage with posters of da Bears. Bruno comes running onto the scene and
the 'battle' is joined. It ends with Piper's head being 'split' open
on the cage and Bruno depositing the aforementioned posters in Piper's
....errr...."where the sun don't shine".
My first and last trip to the circus they call 'wrasslin'!

remember him taking a sabattical in the 70's to get a hair

was too old then.

Anybody else catch that truly absurd, out-loud-laughable tear-jerker of
a commercial put on by the WWF during the football game Saturday? The
one where they say that in these troubling times of baseball and
hockey players ruining our country's youth, the WWF won't ever let
you down; your kids will always have the WWF to turn to for heroes?
I'd swear that it was all just a tongue-in-cheek spoof, where they
just edited out the scene for length with the syringes scattered
around Vince McMahon's throne... ;-)
