Hi:

I have a customer thats having problems with a report generated by rally.  It
send two copies to the printer.  I checked the report and seams ok and it
working wright on the other nodes on the net.  We have 49 nodes running rally
with the same application.  Only this one is sending two copies.  We even copy
the application from one of the site that are working ok and still have the
problem.

If some have seen such a weird problem please let me know.

    We don't have DEC Printers here anymore, so I can't test the concept,
    but here's a thought.
    
    Are you using SYS$PRINT or some other logical to define where your
    reports are going?  I'm assuming you're printing using the PRINT REPORT
    feature in Rally (either F/R Packet Mode or Command).  If this is the
    case, then check to see if SYS$PRINT is using a logical search list. 
    Is it possibly referencing the same printer twice or in two different
    configurations?  Maybe that's your problem.  If it is defined
    'strangely', then check your other nodes and see how it's set up there.
    
    Now a favor from you.  I've been looking for a way to get to the Notes
    conference via the WWW.  Could you please post on this topic how or
    what tool you used to get here via the WWW?  The node I'm on is going
    away soon so I'll need WWW access shortly.

Thanks for the info on the problem. I'll check this at the site and let you
know my findings.  On regard to where to find the notes on the WWW the  addrs
is

WWW-NOTES.LKG.DEC.COM

This will bring you the list of conferences available and you should choose
the first one "applications ..."  and there you will find the Rally
conference.
