Hi, Everybody ! My name is Michael Kepke, I have been working in MCS, Digital Russia, for 4 years. My ancestors came to Russia from Germany many years ago and lived in Saint-Petersburg. My grandfather, Karl, had a brother, Gustaw Koepcke (or Koepke - both these names are easily transformed to Kepke in Russian), who left Russia for Germany after October revolution in ~1920. Karl Kepke was arrested in Saint-Petersburg and killed in a prison before WWII during Stalin's terror only for being a German, his family, including my father, was deported out of Saint-Petersburg to the Urals. Gustaw Koepcke had a son, Werner Koepcke, who lived in Frankfurt (?) or West Berlin (?). In 1969 Werner with his daughters visited StPetersburg and met my uncle. It was dangerous at that time to have western relatives for Soviet people, so either my uncle or my father didn't save any contacts with Werner. Now we live in the different world and I have been trying to find my relatives in Germany for some time using different Internet sites like Yahoo or Lycos without any success. I will be very grateful to everybody who can tell me about the ways I may continue my searching of Mr. Werner Koepcke. Thanks a lot in advance. Michael Kepke @RSP [email protected]

Well, I found no Werner Koepcke, but there are 3 Werners spelled Koepke in
Germany , two spelled K�pcke, and 37 spelled K�pke... (and even 4
Kopke).
None of those live in Berlin or Frankfurt (apart from 4 K�pkes).
There's also a Werner Kepke (but he isn't in Berlin/Frankfurt either):
