I thought the CXO shooters may be interested in these two matches:
    
     
The firm dates for the 1997 RMPM are: 25 June-29 June, 1997.
The RMPM is held at the NRA(US) Whittington Center, which is
just outside of Raton, New Mexico, USA.
 
The Whittington Center has competitor housing, but it is
usually fully subscribed by this time. There are several
motels in Raton.

International air service into Albuquerque, New Mexico ( four
hours drive south of Raton) and into Denver, Colorado (four
hours drive north of Raton) is the usual method for overseas
competitors.
 
The Colorado Rifle Club, which is 30 miles east of Denver, is
hosting a Long Range Regional Championship the weekend of the
14th-15th June. ( five, 20 shot matches at 1000yards, plus a
1000yard teams ( four person) match.
 
The following weekend, at the same venue, the Colorado Long Range
Championship will be contested. Friday thru Monday, there will
be three indiviual Palma Matches, two individual 1000yard matches,
a 1000yd.Teams match, and a Palma Teams Match.
 
This will leave Tuesday, June 24th, as a travel day to Raton,
Where the RMPM will begin on Wednesday.
 
Programs for the RMPM will be avaliable at the end of March.
 
The RMPM features a preliminary match at 300, 600, and 800yards,
followed by squadded practice on Wednesday, an Ind. Palma match
and an ind. 1000yd match Thursday and Friday, an ind. Palma
match and a teams ( 4 person ) 1000 yd. match on Saturday,
and a Teams (4 person) Palma Match on Sunday. ( usually over
by noon)
 
Quite a bit of Long Range shooting in two week's time.
 
The RMPM has classes for Class F and Class O competition.
I do not believe the Colorado matches offer these classes
at this time.
