Although the article doesn't mention DBMS it does effectively apply to
DBMS -- DBMS has no y2k problems.

From 243.6 in the Rdb7 conference...
There was a publication there issued by IOUG-A called "IOUC Special Reports
on Strategic Issues". In this publication is an article 'Oracle Products
and Year 2000 Compliance'. It discusses what Year 2000 Compliance means
and included a table of current Oracle products and their Year 2000
Compliance. The Rdb products are listed as being fully compliant with a
footnote that applications may or may not depending on how the application
managed dates. This table included Rdb server and single user client,
CODASYL DBMS, DBAPack, among others.
There is also a comment that this Year 2000 white paper will appear on
Oracle's Worldwide Support web site:
http://www.oracle.com/support
You may also request it from WWS at 1-415-506-1500 (press 1 for FAX; press
