I told him that. He said he was surprised it was still being developed,
and asked about what was going to happen afterwards. He asked about the
'SQL interface' he had heard about. I told him it is a separate product
available now. I also told him we aren't planning on dropping support for
DBMS.
This customer is currently upgrading from 4.2 to 6.1 (per my previous
note). The reason he is upgrading is that he is replacing his VAX with
an Alpha.

question since I joined Digital in 1984! Anyhow, Kathy steered you in
