| Never having tried this method in my previous gardening days, I thought I'd
give it a shot at the new house...
I like it! I've put in a bunch of stuff in square foot style, and some in
conventional short rows. The square foot stuff is far easier to deal with
from all angles: soil prep, watering, weeding, feeding. I think I'll be doing
most of my veggies this way from now on.
I'm doing pretty much nothing for the walkways... just walking around packs
the soil almost rock hard, so weeds don't really get going.
