7227.0. "Problem printing to NEC Colormate under Windows 95" by CONSLT::OWEN (Stop Global Whining) Wed Jun 04 1997 16:08
[cross-posted to windows95 conference]
I'm having trouble getting an NEC Colormate working properly under windows 95.
It seems to print one page just fine, but when we print multiple pages, say
from powerpoint, it does the first page, some of the second page, then an
error page. The error page always is of the form:
OFFENDING COMMAND: [a few chars of postscript source]
STACK:
[some numbers, or more postscript garbage]
I've tried using the NEC Colormate, DEC Colormate, and Adobe Postscript
printer drivers all with the same results. I've tried changing timeout
settings, changing to Postscript ADSC, etc. Still no go.
FWIW, the printer (on the test page) reports 8M of available memory, so I've
set the memory setting in the driver to 8192, but that didn't seem to make a
difference either.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Steve
