7221.0. "Colorwriter LSR 2000+ (LNC01) with PSPrinter 8.4 on Macintosh" by UTOPIE::PUCHINGER_G (GERHARD PUCHINGER @AUI, DTN:*754/2553) Mon Jun 02 1997 10:04

    Printing to Colorlaser LSR2000 (LNC01) from a macintosh gives problems,
    when printing to print-queue or hold-queue.
    Printing to direct-queue is o.k.
    When printing to print or hold-queue, the printer hangs and can only be
    recovered by power off/on.
    The printer driver is Adobe Postscript version 8.4.1.

    Rumor says, that this is a problem of the version 8.4 of the driver,
    when used with fiery-products.
    We have another user with no problems, he is using 8.3.

    Can you confirm this?

    thanks and kind regards

    There is no Adobe PSPrinter printer driver version 8.4.x. The customer
    must be referring to the Apple Laserwriter printer driver which is at
    8.4.1.

    We have been told by EFI that there are problems in using this printer
    driver with the Colorwriter LSR 2000. The correct printer driver to use
    is Adobe PSPrinter 8.3.1. No later version of the Apple or Adobe
    printer drivers have been approved yet.
