7214.0. "Yellow dots on LNC01 (Colorwriter LSR 2000)" by UTOPIE::PUCHINGER_G (GERHARD PUCHINGER @AUI, DTN:*754/2553) Wed May 28 1997 11:22
Hi,
the LNC01 Colorlaserprinter is producing yellow dots all over the page.
This has been seen up to now on three different printers as well from
Mac as from Windows and also with the test page. It does NOT happen
when printing the engine test pages or a black/white page.
The dots are pixel dots and can only be seen with a 8 to 10 times
magnifying glass. Most visible are the dots in the fading areas of the
coloured bars of green, red or cyan.
There is a margin on the paper, where no dots occur.
I changed the simms due to that problem and was about to swap the video
controller, as i noticed on the test print supplied with the board also
the yellow dots. After this i checked the demo printer here at digital
- also the same.
Has anyone already seen this and can confirm it?
Is there a soloution?
Thanks and kind regards
Gerhard Puchinger

| Please escalate this if you haven't already. This sounds very unusual
to everyone I've spoken with here.
