Hi, A customer at Nedlloyd Inc has just upgrading s.h. software from 5.0 to 5.1 and dcps s.w. from 1.2 to 1.3, since then 2 out of 10 LPS17/600's are getting "lps-f-exception error 09/00 0000000C 000096D6" on the front panel. This error appears at random and connect be duplicated at will. These errors were not generating before the upgrade. At the lps$console, typing "status" returned "controller not responding". The customer has to reboot to recover. The f.w. version on 1 lps17/600 2.1 1.0 1.0 / w 16 MB. Could someone tell me what this error code means? Thanks, Lynda

Is there no explanation for this error? | |||||

lps-f-exception means that the software was loaded but failed to execute properly. The numbers are memory addresses and are only marginally useful. Please turn on logging, set the diagnostic level in lpsoptions.nodename file to -d 5 and set the traces in lpsconfig.nodename file to cpap-trace on Then stop and start the daemon, rebooted the printer and when the error reoccurs put a POINTER to the lpslog.nodename file here. An exception can happen when the printer has been triggered or rebooted without power cycling and the printer controller is in a wait state. The way to clear this is to power cycle. Nancy |
