I'm working with a customer who is trying to boot an LPS17 printer from
Windows NT V4.0. The front panel of the printer has a ?54.
He has loaded the LPS Software kit that is available from our web site
and has used the Wizard to configure the printer.
His log file is included below. The ethernet address for the printer is
correct.
Why are we looking on b: for decpsmon? He said his hard drive is c:
Does anything else about this log file explain why the primary load is
failing?

| Liz,
Is the printer in the same subnet as the NT server? Is this a
LPS17/600 with V2.1 of the firmware? If it is a lps17 and doesn't have
the 22.1 firmware it will never boot from the NT server, as the
firmware will never see the bootp reply.
If the printer is not in the same subnet then the router must
forward the bootp reply properly.
