Hey there we have a LN17ps with 22MB connected via Ethernet to a WindowsNT Server and an Unix-Server (with Pathworks). There are a lot of Pages printed only a half page and the error 'page to complex' occures on the printer panel. No difference if you use Postscript or PCL language for the printer. Printing pictures can be Powerpoint or Winword, Excel, Netscape, ... All of these are generating trouble. Printing is done from Win95 or WinNT. The same pictures are printed on DL1150 without problems (but it tooks time ...). Any idea ?? Thanks in advance and regards Gernot Meyer Digital Berlin, Germany [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Either the printer is set by default to have Page protect OFF or the drivers are setting it OFF on a job-by-job basis. A 22MB machine has plenty of memory to print with page protect ON, even if duplex printing is selected. Just change the setting at the front panel and/or in the drivers. - tom]

To correct Tom: Change them IN THE DRIVER. Setting it at the front panel will have no effect if the driver is not set for page protection.
