Hi all, I have a customer that have a problem with the LPS17 Printer an Windows NT 4.0. When the customer choose the option "Print on both Sides, Long Side" and click "OK", the following error Message appear: Your current selection have caused the following items to conflict with each other: Item CurrentSelection ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- DECimage Plus Controls Standard DECimage Plus OFF If the customer set DECimage Plus "ON" or "Use Current Setting in The Printer" the area was printed as a raster image and not as a gray scale image. I have downloaded the brand new Printer Driver from http://websrv.mro.dec.com/drivers/ named NT4DPS50.ZIP but this driver make the same mistake. The Driver for Windows NT 3.51 works, only the NT 4.0 driver make problems. Is that a bug in the driver? Kind regards

This is a bug in the driver. I do not understand this sentence: "If the customer set DECimage Plus "ON" or "Use Current Setting in The Printer" the area was printed as a raster image and not as a gray scale image." I don't know what you mean by a "raster image" instead of a "grey scale image". They can mean the same thing. Turning DECimage Plus on will cause a difference in the appearance of the image making it look much different than a traditional graphics image. Is this what your customer is seeing? I can not guarantee a prompt response to this issue. Please make sure you have escalated the problem through channels so that it gets proper attention. |
