Hi folks,
        I need an information about setting LPS20.

My customer needs, if possible, to print on his LPS20's some files ANSI
in Landscape with 220 columns and format A4. 
He works on a VAX 6310 with VMS 5.5-2 and CPS 4.0, using like library
stock default the CPS$DEFAULT. 
He has tried using a form with width=220, but without success (when the
print arrives to 132 characters, it wraps to a new line).
Inserting at the beginning of the text the escape sequence ESC[15m and
defining the page like A4 (with another escape sequence), the print
arrives to 211 columns, but not defined well (insufficient quality).
Also using the font TIMES than the default doesn't help.
I've posted to my customer the suggestions of the note 772, but without
success.
You can find, if needs, the printer queues definition with CPS$startup
on my node NEBBIA (address 46.364), directory [FIAT], file: FIATLPS20.TXT;2.
Is there any other possibility or you have only to use files.ps to solve
this requirement?

    Topic 4316 may give you some escape sequences to work with. 
    
    Using PostScript will give you the BEST quality for such a large number
    of characters.
