I have read numerous notes regarding DCPS support for IP printing to printers such as the HP LaserJet 4M+. Has this functionality ever been added to DCPS or is it still not supported ?? If it is supported, how do you enter the information in the dcps$startup.com file. I believe the P2 parameter is most critical here. I have tried "host:port", (ie. "HP4M:9100") the queue starts but will not print. This syntax does work when I manually create the queue with the following command: $ init/que/start/on="HP4M:9100"/process=ucx$telnetsym srn01_taz This que does work, but of course I lose the adding functionality provided by dcps such as the ability to print Landscape. Thanx in advance Hubert Gubbels

There is no released version of DCPS that will print to such a printer via TCP/IP. The next release, V1.4, will print to many desktop printers. Check elsewhere in this conference for pointers to V1.4 kits and documentation. Paul |
