7146.0. "Leading page with ">> <<" printing via PWRKS" by KAOFS::H_GUBBELS () Fri Apr 04 1997 18:07

	I have a Telnet print queue that always prints a leading page
containing ">> <<" when printing from my laptop, via Pathworks, to an HP
LaserJet 4M+ printer. I am using the Windows 95 HP LaserJet 4/4M Plus PS
driver. Printing directly from VMS is ok. We are running VMS v6.1 and
Pathworks v5.0d.

	The que was created with the following command:

$ init/que/start/on="HP4M:9100"/library=dcps_lib/process=ucx$telnetsym/ -
    default=(form=dcps$default)/noenable_generic/schedule=(nosize) srn01_taz

	The current queue settings are:

$ sh que srn01_taz/ful

Printer queue SRN01_TAZ, idle, on SRNU07::"HP4M:9100", mounted form DCPS$DEFAULT (stock=DEFAULT)
  /BASE_PRIORITY=4 /DEFAULT=(FORM=DCPS$DEFAULT (stock=DEFAULT)) /NOENABLE_GENERIC /LIBRARY=DCPS_LIB Lowercase /OWNER=[SYSTEM]
  /PROCESSOR=UCX$TELNETSYM /PROTECTION=(S:M,O:D,G:R,W:S) /SCHEDULE=(NOSIZE)

	I suspect that this is telnet symbiont or dcps problem rather than
a Pathworks or Windows 95 driver issue. However, I'm not sure how to
proceed from here...any clues or insight would be appreciated.
