7105.0. "Can Rapidprint200 supports LG01,LG06 & LP27?" by ZPOVC::HINSIONGTAN () Sun Mar 02 1997 22:20

Hi, can someone tell me if the following system printers are supported
    by Rapidprint 200 :

    a) LG01
    b) LG12
    c) LP27

Do I need to purchase any special cables ? Is there any supported
    documentation ?

p/s: I posted this in PRINTSERVER_HARDWARE but I was redirected to this
         conference.

    Thanks for any help.

    Regards,
    HSTAN ZPO

The key people involved with this product are out this week but I've
placed a few inquiries. I don't believe this is the correct conference,
either but I can't think of an appropriate one.

    I've gotten some information back:

The LN12 can be supported with no special cabling. The LG01 and LP27
will need a BC27Z cable to convert between the parallel port types but
    will work.

Before you go any futher, do you already have a RapidPrint200 ?

I ask because they are now End-of-Life on the price file, and I
am told there are none left in stock.
Of course you could try to cheat and get one through the MCS
    route,

     Mark.
