I have been having a difficult time getting a DEClaser 5100 and NT to
work together properly since upgrading to 4.0. Any file with any kind
of significant graphics chokes after a few pages with postscript
errors.
When I set the resolution to be 300dpi from the printing application,
the results are somewhat better but still error-prone.
The printer has 6MB of memory, and is shared on a network. When print
jobs are directed to it from a win95 client, the output is fine
consistently.
Anyone have any ideas as to which settings to tweak under winNT?

Page protection is the first one I would think of. What kind of
PostScript errors are you seeing?

I'm getting timeout errors. The Job Timeout is set to 60 seconds & Wait
timeout is at 240. It seems to me that these are fairly high already.
Another question: Settings such as graphics resolution, page protect,
etc. all seem to be individually set from the application's print
applet. Is there a way to set these globally? I don't see them under
printer properties.

Try setting the job timeout to 0.
You can globally change settings by going to the Document Defaults
dialog box. Right-click the printer in the Printers window and select
Document Defaults. Go to the Advanced pane and exaine the Graphic and
Document Options trees.
