7065.0. "LPS40 dark background after warmup" by 24216::STEPHENS () Wed Jan 29 1997 15:11
Hello,
I've got an LPS40 which prints great when its first turned on
and cool, however when it has been on for more than 2-3 hours it begins
to print with a dark background. It seems to be better when I clean
the corona wires and even the 50/100k replacement parts help for
awhile, but it quickly returns to printing that background. Also the
background seems be more concentrated on bottom (left side as it comes
out of the printer) of the paper.
Anyone have thoughts on this problem, other than deep6 the unit?
A great many thanks,
Bruce.
