7057.0. "Turn off Level 2 PostScript" by KERNEL::LUCKMAN () Fri Jan 24 1997 05:59
I have customer who prints to LPS17/300, LPS20 and LPS32 and has a
module which puts an underlay on the page. He has had a need for
PCL5 and so has installed some LPS17/600, LPS20+ and LPS32+, the
overlays will now not print but produce no error, the file itself
prints ok.
The system which produces the prints is being changed in a couple
of months so the customer does not want the expense of having the
overlay rewritten. Is there a PostScript code that could be used
which would force the interpretor to use Level 1 which could be
put into a module to send before the underlay module.
Cheers,
Richard
