Thanks Dave, The program worked just file. The only problem I had was with some files I created by hand. When sent to the same printer the file was printed as a text file rather than a PS file. I added a prolog and it printed OK. Now, does anyone have a short prolog?. Mine is 16kb and would like something shorter. Dennis............ | |||||

Answered my own question. I remembered something about the first line of the file needed special characters for the printer to identify the file. So, deleted the prolog except for the first line: %!PS-Adobe-2.0 EPSF-1. The file printer properly. Dennis......... |
