Does V1.4 include the s/w necessary (Appletack stack?) to send print jobs from a Alpha OpenVMS V7.1 system to Appletalk printers? (Laserwriters (2G, 360, 16/600,12640, 2NTX) and HP Laserjet 4si, 4M - on localtalk) Or does the Appletalk stack come from elsewhere (no Pathworks for VMS (Macintosh) on OpenVMS V7.0, hopelfully on V7.1 soon) ? If so, where can I send our customers today for the Appletalk stack? (I am hoping DIGITAL Alphaservers running OpenVMS can still print) | |||||

No. The AppleTalk stack comes from PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (Macintosh). That product runs on OpenVMS VAX V7.1 but the version that runs on OpenVMS Alpha V7.1 is still in field test. Paul |
