| Thanks, Tim. Fyi, I tried printing the title.ps file from the
LNC01_IG.ZIP file to a PrintServer 17 printer, and had it fail with:
ERROR: limitcheck
OPPENDING COMMAND:
STACK:
after the title page had been printed.
I had a similar error when I tried to view the file via the psview
application on Windows NT.
Anyone else had problems printing/viewing these files?

| I am not familiar with the file you are referring to so I can't be sure
what the specific problem is but I suspect that if they are PostScript
files, you are going to need a printer with plenty of memory to print
them. The files that we hope to get on the WWW server will be PDF
files.

The file I tried to print was in a zip file mentioned in .4 of this
note thread. But having PDF would be excellent, and I'll sit back and
wait/hope for them.

This problem has nothing to do with memory as suggested in .10
It has everything to do with embedded control-z characters at the
end of file. The usual cause of this problem is binary FTP transfer
from a PC to VMS. The program is not smart enough to tranfer
the actual number of bytes and pads out the rest of the disk
with control-z characters.
FYI> DSCVerifier has a piece of code that can be prepended
to PostScript file to bypass this problem. Perhaps it should
be added to PS_SUPPLEMENT???
