Ok.
Well, that was a bit more satisfying. Or maybe it's just because I like
Garibaldi stories. Just what the heck is going on with Mr. Garibaldi?
In some instances, like the opening meeting with his client and the
daughter, he seems a lot like the Garibaldi we've come to know and love.
A guy who does the right thing, jokes about it, and watches Daffy Duck.
(You know, I think we've seen the closest we're ever going to come to
seeing jms do a cameo here. I think jms is here represented by
Bugs when he turns around and addresses the camera "Ain't I a stinker?")
But any mention of Sheridan seems to turn Michael around into someone
with his own personal (implanted?) agenda. Of course the turning in of
the link, security id, and gun should have been expected. In fact, I thought
he had already handed things over when he resigned. Might have to go back
and review that tape. The stuff with Lise was interesting. I wonder if
he'd still feel the way he mentioned if he hadn't gone through the kidnapping
and (supposed) re-programming. Of course, then he wouldn't have been
called in to protect her. And was the whole chase sequence a carefully
orchestrated test? It certainly looked like the PPG blasts through
the ventilation shaft were attempts to kill, and Wade and Lise would have
been the first to go. But could real telepaths have been able to locate
them through the shaft and fire close, but not TOO close? I tend to lean
towards the "real" rather than "elaborate ruse" possibility, but
it's open enough for doubt. Hmmm, and now it looks like he is off to Mar's
for good. Does he still fit in with Wade's plans? Or was that part of
the plan?
Good to see Zathras again. No, no, not Zathras. Zathras! Zathras was the
quiet one of the bunch! Well, jms kind of warned us something along those
lines a while back (on the net). Could anybody make out any distinction
between the separate pronunciations of "Zathras" "Zathras" and "Zathras"?
I'll be damned if I could, and they made it look like Ivanova couldn't
either. Oh well, the truth is now back in business. Should make for
some interesting times.
One more thing. Did anyone notice glitches in the video signal, or is it
just me and my cable company? They seemed to be mostly along several
horizontal scan lines, and lasted for a second or so. They showed up when
Garibaldi is meeting with his client in the opener, and in a few other
places. I noticed it during the ch 64 broadcast on Saturday (when I
watched a taped version) and then again when I watched the WSBK broadcast
last night. It seemed like it happened in the same place both times, so
either there was something wrong in the uplink or my cable company is
somewhat sensitive to certain things in the B5 episodes. So let me know
if I'm crazy or not (well, at least tell me whether you saw the glitches,
or I'm hallucinating again).

Re: .1
Yeah, PeterT, I saw the video glitches you mentioned, though I'm not
sure they were at the same points (don't remembers). I was watching WSBK via
Dish Network.
I loved the scene between Ivanova and Zathras!

| Hen3ry is from an old lead in to a Tom Lehr (sp?) song. He describes a
guy he knew named "Henry" who was so individual, "he spells it h e n 3 r y. The
3 being silent, you see."

I thought I knew all the routines Tom.L did... but I don't
remember this one. It very well may have come from there,
but I heard about it from a friend who had business cards
printed with his name:

Very Interesting

Just who is Garibaldi (sp) working for?
Maybe because I don't want him to be a bad guy but I hope he is working
for Sheridan, the way Sheridan has been picking on him could be a cover
or just soar grapes on Sheridan's part, on the other hand, there is the
time he spent being interrogated by the (psicor?) when something could
have been planted. There is no way you can make me beleive they did not
know that Lisa and Michael knew one another. Some one wants
Michael working for her husband, is it the psicor, Clarke or Sheridan?
I am sure that was a look of satisfaction on his face when he got the
offer to go to Mars.
Will we see more dirty tricks from Clarke now that they have the broadcast
station up and running om B5, I like the way she made a point of saying
that Clarke had arranged to do away with his predecessor.
