Hi, I have 4 metal kitchen chairs with vinyl seat and back cushions (not removable) that I would like to cover. I've pretty much figured out how to do the seat with just a drawstring elastic to go under the bottom. But I'm stumped on how to do the back. It doesn't go all the way down, it's just around the shoulder blade area, probably 10-12 inches deep. These are for a cottage so they don't have to be perfect, but I'd like to give them a face lift. Any ideas would be appreciated. Judy

Check for zippers, any seam that might have been whipstitched, and any hidden screws that might allow a piece to come off. If the fabric piece is just a cushion on the surface of a sheetmetal surface it is probably mounted on a thin board and the board is held on with some screws. If you can't find screws, the board may be glued down or recessed into a groove. | |||||

Judy, I saw this flipping through the channels the other day.....the tops looked like "pillow cases". They can be cut to the size of your choice, some had "elastic" bottoms, other were very tailored to very "frufru". Kathi |
