With NT, it is possible to create a network share that has the NT installation files as well as layered products (such as Office 95, etc.). When a user performs an install from this area, then without answering any questions it installs NT and the layered products. This is done using the SYSDIFF tool. Is there any similar procedure for Win95? Like the NT situation, the idea is to create a network share from which Win95 and layered products can be installed without the end user having to go through complete installation procedures. thanks - john

Yeah - no probs. I have done this for a customer who wanted to upgrade 2000 users with no user intervention. What I should do is send you the word docs that I created for this customer. Send me your mail address and I'll reply with the docs. Alan [[email protected]] | |||||
