> - Replaced all hardware; no solution Did this include memory? > - add additional 32mb memory; Pc is stable This makes me think of a memory problem even more. I've seen these random errors more than once on different systems, and most of the times it's a problem with memory, either bad or non-compatible. Replace the original memory by known good memory recommended for this PC. Jur.

Jur, I checked the memory with PC care and Amidiag product and for both the memory is OK. If the memory for all my pc is bad, why not to face this problem before the upgrade??? Thanks, Thierry

The VFAT exception might point to a corrupted disk volume. Did you ScanDisk all your disks? How many/what kind of disks do you have connected? Guenther

> I checked the memory with PC care and Amidiag product and for both > the memory is OK. That does not tell me anything. I've seen diagnostics run okay far too many times when there was still a memory problem which only came out in the real world. Can you borrow some other memory to check it out? > If the memory for all my pc is bad, why not to face this problem before > the upgrade??? I does not have to be bad memory, but a combination of memory/motherboard which won't work. Jur.

After some memory swap the problem seems to be solved...... Thierry. |
