Install Lotus Notes 4.5 problem
Install Lotus Notes 4.5 or upgrade from 3.3 fails with error message
"Error loading Program Library NNOTES WS1157", under WIN95.
Install initally works fine. Start for the first time will create
a .INI file, where only 4 entries are added and will stop after
display of the error message.
See solution below.
I did add this title to inform my collegues.
SOLUTION:
It is a bug in Lotus Notes.
Lotus Notes is searching for file MVSCRT40.DLL (Visual Basic) and will
not find it, as it is hidden in a subdirectory.
If the file is available because of installation of another
application, Lotus Notes will find it in windows\system directory and
will proceed correctly.
