How do I delete a program icon from within the Control Panel folder? Task Bar properties only allows me to access the StartUp menu. I can view the files contained within the Control Panel folder with Explorer but there is no option to delete a file. Thanks,

Once you bring up the Control Panel, can't you: Left single-click on icon Right single-click on icon Drag down to "delete" and then verify ?

No. I cannot select any icon within the Control Panel folder and either move it to the desktop (or another folder) or delete it. About the only thing I can do is create a shortcut to the application. The uninstall routine for this program left the icon behind. Now I can't figure out how to eliminate it. Ideas? thx... joe
