| There are other conferences talking about this (probably the NT conference is
your best bet). The summary as I understand it is that FX!32 is working to
support in in their next release (non-native, obviously) and that only a
couple of the applications on it are likely to be native (like Word and Excel,
maybe). No dates for the Word/Excel Alpha native that I have seen.

He said he believed Word and Excel native on Alpha around end of April
or sometime in May.

FX!32, version 1.2, has as its overriding goal support for Office97. We wanted to
get it into 1.1, but the changes from Office95 to Office97 were way too vast.
Look for this release somewhere around the middle part of the year (June).

| The holdup might be for PowerPoint debugging, which was supposedly
rewritten and included in with native Excel and Word for Alpha's
Office97. K
