2840.0. "get rid of annoying n/w file messages at startup?" by SIOG::CORCORAN () Mon Mar 10 1997 13:18
I removed some network icons using control panel's ADD/REMOVE (the PC
used to be on a network)
However if I boot, during the startup I get a message saying the
following files were not found
nwredir.vxd
nscl.vxd
nwnp32.dll
and that I should check system.ini or regedit to delete
references to them. They are not mentioned in system.ini,so I assume
regedit has the references...I know regedit can be tricky, how do I
delete these exactly please?
BTW
I can hit a key to continue as normal (ie,three times) and all looks
ok,I just want to get rid of the annoying messages.
