I am having problems getting my Win95 system to properly recognize the
Microsoft Intellipoint Mouse (the one with the wheel between the
buttons). I have installed the latest version of the MS IntelliPoint
software that came with the mouse. According to
MyComputer-->Properties the system knows that it is the IntelliPoint
mouse. However, when I run the IntelliPoint software from
ControlPanel-->Mouse and click on the tab titled WHEEL the options
are greyed out.
ANy ideas?

hmmmm.. After some initial problems in getting the $20 rebate back from
Bill G. and company, I plugged the thing in, and it worked first crack
out of the box...
I will look (at home) and see what erupts in the way of fixable
problems... sorry I am not more help.

The frustrating thing is that I have one at work and all I did is to
plug it in and it worked.
