Hi, I've been using MultiTech's MultiModem PCMCIA card MT1432LTI for faxing under WfW for three years with "full" satisfaction. Now I'd like to use the same card for Microsoft Fax under W95. Composing new fax message and sending it with wizard is OK until 'connecting' phase. Finally communication ends with status 'Send failed'. I've checked all corresponding parametres in Control Panel ( Modem, Fax )many times and everything seems to be good to me. Has somebody 'similar' experience? Jiri [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

I had the same problem - had to upgrade the firmware. The MT1432LTI runs just fine now. Firmware upgrades can be found in the web at ftp://ftp.multitech.com/Modem Firmware/<country specific/ the hex file (for me in Germany) was 14ltg.015, for your country the naming may differ.. You also need the flashpro.zip from the directory above to download the firmware to the modem. Good luck, Horst |
